A woman gave birth to a baby girl with 4 legs and 3 arms in India.
Doctors believe the boy was originally part of a group of triplets, two of whom were born together during pregnancy.
Baby girl was born with 4 legs and 3 arms after two triplets were brought together in the womb.
Mother Raju, 24, gave birth to the twins at a government hospital in Tok, Rajastha on Friday.
Although the baby was healthy, the girl was born with an extra set of legs and arms that covered her entire chest and abdomen.
It is believed that excess limbs can be removed surgically.
Dr Rohitesh MeePa, a surgeon who delivered the babies, said: “Raju gave birth to twins spontaneously at 2:46am.
“The male is official, and the girl is conjoined twins.
“He has a little breathing problem.
“We have stopped giving him oxygen and his vital signs have stabilized.
“We will refer her to an old hospital in Jaipur for further treatment and pediatric surgery.
“Mother, the son is stable.”
Raju and her husband, Badhulal Gurjar, a worker, are expecting their first child.
The couple could not read and write, did not go for an ultrasound and took the abortion pill without knowing Rajú was pregnant.
Dr Meena added: “They were distraught after the baby girl was born.
Doctors believe this could be the first case of triplets from the same father and the couple being reunited.
The baby girl is said to be conjoined in the womb, thus having extra limbs.
Parents do not have a second suction so they do not know that the mother will give birth.
It is thought that the girl’s extra limbs could be removed through surgery.
