Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy will try his best to help his new team win a third successive ring next season. But he’s putting a ring on it in the meantime.
The wideout, who stunned everyone at the NFL Scouting Combine earlier this year, left his girlfriend, Tia Jones, teary-eyed after popping the question on a beach.
Jones, a United States track and field star, said yes to Worthy, as expected. The two have since shared a video of the life-changing event on social media. The clip below shows the WR leading Jones towards the beach, where a large number of roses and candles spelling out “Marry Me” were waiting.
He then got down on one knee and presented her with a ring bearing a huge diamond.
