After Serena Williams’ defeat against a male tennis player, a legendary tennis player expresses sadness

The argument that trans athletes compete against women in sports has become a well-documented debate in the world of overall sports lately. However, a recent court hearing about the same caught fire when the name of Serena Williams was mentioned in the proceeding.

Judge John Kennedy questioned Dem Witness, Kelley Robinson about biological male athletes having an advantage over women in sports. In reply to the question, the LGBTQ Activist cited a news article. She stated that some men think that they can defeat Serena Williams, however, they can’t because the 23-time Grand Slam winner is stronger than them.

Countering the statement, former American swimmer, Riley Gaines outright affirmed that Serena as well as her elder sister, Venus Williams lost against the 203rd-ranked ATP player, Karsten Braasch.

Thus, saddened by the injustice and controversies getting weft in the soul of a beautiful game, tennis legend Martina Navratilova has a four-world message. The 18-time singles Grand Slam winner took to her social media account and retweeted a post writing “This is just sad.”

Riley Gaines was also quick to reply to Navratilova’s tweet as she states that she quoted the former multi-time Grand Slam champion in my opening statement at the heated court hearing.

“There will always be significant numbers of boys and men who would beat the best girls and women in head-to-head competition. Claims to the contrary are simply a denial of science.”

The former American swimmer also thanked the tennis icon for coming in her support. Martina Navratilova also replied and showed her support towards Gaines.

Serena Williams admits that men’s tennis is a whole different sport

Serena Williams has always been an inspiration for many players as well as all of her fans. However, the incident of her losing to Germany’s Karsten Braasch in 1998 became the talk of the town in the past couple of days.

The Dem Witness in the court hearing reflected on Serena Williams by saying that she can defeat a male tennis player. However, the 23-time Grand Slam winner thinks the exact opposite of what Kelley Robinson actually said.

“Andy Murray. He has been joking about myself and him playing a match. And I’m like, Andy, seriously, like, are you kidding me? Because for me, tennis and men’s tennis and women’s tennis are completely almost two seperate sports.” Williams said.

Williams once revealed that former ATP World No. 1 Andy Murray once kept asking for a match. Nevertheless, she always refuses to do so because she thinks men’s tennis and women’s tennis are two separate sports. She even stated that men make powerful serves as they hit harder than women.
