Maldives Paradise: Giving to Love in the Presence of Enchanting Beauty

The Republic of Maldives is an island nation consisting of a group of atolls in the Indian Ocean with the smallest population in Asia, the majority of the population is Muslim. The name Maldives comes from Maale Dhivehi Raajje, which means “Island Kingdom”. Maldives holds the record as the flattest country in the world with a natural land level of only 2.3m above sea level. It is because of this that the rapidly rising sea level has become a threat to the existence of the Maldives.
