On Instagram, Brown shared a video of himself chatting with followers Luke and Adi. The Celtics player got out of an SUV to thank them personally after they gave the ring to Brown’s pal.

While expressing his gratitude to the fans on Causeway Street in Boston, the former Berkley star—who was wearing a hoodie and sunglasses—asked them not to be too noisy and handed them gifts. Adi reminds Brown, “We really wanted you to have it back,” as he hands them an autographed jersey and ball. It seems like Brown also offers them an envelope, but Luke initially turned it down. With Brown at the helm, the Boston Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks in five games to win their 18th NBA championship.

By averaging 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in the NBA Finals in 2023, he justified his five-year, $304 million supermax agreement with the Celtics.
