Two pieces of tattoo art, including Derrick Rose’s wife’s initials, were placed on his face, and he proudly displayed them.

Just below his left ear, on Rose’s cheek, you could see the initials ‘AAA,’ which stood for his wife Alaina A. Anderson.

Rose and Anderson began dating in 2016 and tied the knot on September 7, 2023

They welcomed a girl, Layla, in 2018 and a son, London, the following year. The 2012 birth of Derrick Jr. was a blessing for the University of Memphis alumnus and his ex-girlfriend Mieka Reese.

The Chicago Bulls drafted Rose in 2008, and he guided the franchise to multiple postseason appearances, the most recent of which being a 2011 Eastern Conference Finals showdown with the Miami Heat, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade.

At the age of 23, Rose made history that season as the youngest player to ever win the NBA MVP award. His 62-20 record and 7.7 assists per game helped Chicago earn the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference. He also pulled down 4.1 rebounds per game.The Bulls’ newest member left Chicago in 2016 after playing for a number of other NBA teams. After brief stints with the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Detroit Pistons, and the Cleveland Cavaliers, Rose spent two seasons with the New York Knicks.

With the Memphis Grizzlies, Rose made a triumphant return to his alma mater in 2023. Despite Rose’s limited playing time due to persistent ailments last season, he has stated his intention to return to the Grizzlies in October.
