Profile Overview of 2023 Bugatti Chiron Profilee

The Bugatti Chiron Profilée is unveiled: the only built specimen will be sold under the hammer.

The French have presented a unique Bugatti Chiron Profilée hypercar.

The company conceived it back in 2020, when they released the driving Chiron Pur Sport.

The last one was sold out in 60 copies, but some customers wanted to see a similar version of the model, but with less aggressive bodykit. The Profilée version is conceived as such.

Initially they wanted to release it in limited, but still limited quantity, but as a result only one car was built.

The French had to change the plans because of its own mistake. The point is that the total run of the Bugatti Shiron hypercar is 500 cars and all of them have already been made in different versions — there was simply no room for a novelty.

Experts of the company didn’t throw out the groundwork «in the basket» and still decided to assemble one car.

Externally, the new vehicle is closer to the usual version of the model, while its front end has increased air intakes and modified splitter.

Unlike mentioned Pur Sport, the new model doesn’t have massive antifender on the stern — instead of it a neat «duck tail» is installed.

The car’s body is painted in a unique for the Chiron blue tint «Argent Atlantique».

The interior is also in blue. For the first time, the French used fabric inserts.

The latter are available on the front panel, center tunnel and door cards.

The vehicle is powered by a 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine rated at 1,500 hp (1,600 Nm), also available on Pur Sport.

However, on a novelty the unit is able to spin up to 6,900 rpm (+200).

It works in conjunction with a seven-band robot with two clutches, which has received different settings and closer ratios.

The chassis has undergone some modifications. Compared to the Sport-version, this hypercar had slightly increased spring rate (+10%).

For comparison, in Pur Sport their stiffness in the front and rear was increased by 65 and 33% respectively.

The car is accelerated from 0-100 km/h in 2.3 seconds, and from 0-200 km/h — in 5.5 seconds. The same performance is shown in Pur Sport.

But the new item has a slightly higher top speed — 380 km/h (+ 30). The unique Shiron Profile does not belong to anyone yet — it will be sold on February 1, 2023 at an auction of RM Sotheby’s. The price tag promises to be impressive.
